Congratulations to Kansas! Boo- North Carolina lost! That was a great game last night! So, we have winners! Chuck Decroix wins 1st place ($399.00), Frye Island Knights takes 2nd place ($114.00) and PTodis comes in 3rd ($57.00). If you won I'll be getting in touch with you to get you your money.

As I've already said, I did not like the ESPN TC website/software. I would have preferred to continue with the old software but things change. I will be looking next year for a better way to run the pool.

On to the Sweet 16!

Hello basketball fans!

That was a great 4 days of basketball. A few stunners in there with Kentucky losing the first round to Baylor getting eliminated last night. A couple of big upsets really hit my brackets on Saturday night. We are now on to the Sweet 16!

I don't know about everyone else but I'm not liking this ESPN bracket software very much. I guess it will do in a pinch but I'm definitely trying something different next year. I'll be searching for an alternative.

The standings have my #1 bracket in first place but it probably won't survive the next few games. Two of my final 4 picks are done so I doubt I have a chance to keep first place. In second is Duff Smallwood followed by a 4-way tie for 3rd. So, it's still anybody's tournament pool to win!

We are underway with the tournament and we have 114 entries ($570).  The payout for the winners will be:

1st Place = $399.00
2nd Place = $114.00
3rd Place = $57.00

I'm not a big fan of the ESPN Tournament Challenge software.  I liked the old software better.  Some people didn't get their brackets submitted because the brackets didn't get added to our group.  It's a little confusing.  Next year I'll try to find a better way to do this.

Can you believe KENTUCKY lost!!!?  Sad end for those guys.
